Mara Liddle drops a techno-centric dance number that has an edgy vibe in 'Hush Hush'
There are a lot of artists out there. And some know how to stand out from a packed crowd. Mara Liddle is one of those artists.
As a pop artist, Liddle knows how to meld a variety of different styles into a harmonious piece of music that will get people moving and in some cases singing. Previously featured on BBC Introducing, Mara Liddle is doing what she does best with her latest single, deliver a sound that is upbeat and vibrant.
Her latest single, 'Hush, Hush,' is a techno meets synthetic beats pop song that is fast paced and perfect for a night of dancing at the club. This is the type of single that you pay attention to, and it is definitely the perfect song to dance to as well.
Mara Liddle gives her listeners a grown up dance track in latest single, 'Hush, Hush'
In talking about her latest release, Liddle shared that, "my music is largely influenced by the digital age and media, the things that we see on Instagram or on TV, or the way that having a constant line of connection to someone can perpetuate anxiety in relationships. I liked the way that the line “put it on the screen, everybody sees” followed on from the line “caught you with my face on your screen” in my last single, “girl of your dreams”, and the idea that we live our lives through what we see online."
Honestly, listing to 'Hush, Hush' makes it quite clear that she is being influenced by the world around us. Her digital influence is immediately noticed as soon as the track begins, and it never stops. And if you pay attention to the lyrics of the song and not just the beats of it, you can tell that there is a maturity to the artist that lends itself to something more sensual and passionate than one might expect.
