Liam Payne once revealed that some of his favorite foods were American

Since the news of singer Liam Payne's death, fans have been looking for ways to celebrate his life. And as his fans continue to mourn the former One Direction member, we wanted to find ways to enjoy some of Payne's favorite things.

In a lot of ways, food is perhaps the ultimate way to celebrate someone. Even if a person is no longer with us, food can be a chance to honor a person's memory. And what better way to perhaps say goodbye than with a plate of one of Liam Payne's favorite foods and some of his music?

According to Mashed, it seems that Liam Payne was a big fan of fried mozzarella sticks. During a 2017 appearance on Hot Ones, the singer revealed his love of this classic American dish by saying, "Mozzarella sticks are just the height of all culinary skill." At the time, he did say that he had more simple tastes when it came to the food he enjoyed.

Of course, fried mozzarella sticks were not the only food he has shared his love for over the years. And another menu item that he was a fan of was none other than KFC's Original Recipe chicken. Although that was not the only chicken he opted for, as he did a Carpool Karaoke episode with James Corden and his One Direction bandmates and they went through a McDonald's drive-thru. At the time, Liam opted for a 10 piece order of Chicken McNuggets.

Still, in 2022, Liam Payne revealed another favorite food at the Future of Food event in L.A. At the time, he shared that he also really loved a good grilled cheese sandwich.

There is no denying that all of these dishes are on the more simple side, which makes them a great option for celebrating Liam Payne with. After all, these are things that we can easily get our hands on or make for ourselves at home.
