It was the semifinal episode of season four of Next Level Chef, and that meant finding out who is actually going to make it into the finale. At this point, there are three members of team Richard Blais still in the competition, while Gordon Ramsay and Nyesha Arrington only have one chef left each. So it could end up being an all Blais final.
For their semifinal challenge, the final five chefs had to make an iconic Gordon Ramsay dish. This is the dish that he is probably best known for. And if you are a fan, you already know that they had to make a Wellington.
In an effort to be a little bit nicer, they also got an extra five minutes of cooking time. However, that is still a challenge as 35 minutes does not seem like enough time to bake up a perfect Wellington.
That being said, some amazing Wellingtons were made in all three kitchens. And it was because of how well they did that we had two chefs that were able to move right into the final.
Not only did Richard Blais get a chef into the final in the form of Austin, but Beatrice was guaranteed a spot in the final thanks to her salmon Wellington. This means that Gordon Ramsay does still have a chance at the threepeat.
Beatrice makes the Next Level Chef finale giving Gordon Ramsay a chance at a third win
This meant that both Chef Blais and Chef Arrington had chefs in the final cookoff for the third spot in the Next Level Chef finale. For the chance to cook in the final, the three chefs had to make a fine dining dish. It was a very open challenge, but definitely one that left some chefs struggling.
Sadly, team Arrington lost their final chef in this battle. And that means that it was going to be a team Blais member heading into the final with Austin and Beatrice. So who made it to the final episode? That would be none other than Megan.
We really enjoyed this semifinal episode, because we love getting to see the chefs make a dish that Gordon Ramsay has made so popular once again. And we were curious to see if all three mentors chefs would have representation in the finale. We were really sad to see Bobby get sent home from chef Arrington’s team. But it will be interesting to see if Richard Blais is able to pull out the win for the first time.
It will definitely be interesting to see who is able to pull out the win in the Next Level Chef finale. Will Gordon Ramsay get the win once again? Or has Richard Blais finally picked chefs that will take him all the way? It’s going to be interesting
