Next Level Chef episode six started out a bit rough for team Gordon Ramsay, as they sadly lost one of their team members. It seems that Meg had to step away from the competition due to health reasons. And we are definitely sad to see her go because she was a very talented chef.
This also means that team Ramsay is down to just three chefs in their kitchen. This could spell disaster in the long run, as Richard Blais still has all five of his original chefs and Nyesha Arrington has four of her chefs. This definitely leaves Gordon Ramsay’s team at a disadvantage.
For this episode, “Shoyu My Ramen,” it was all about cooking up a tasty bowl of Ramen. Not only did they have to make Ramen, but the platform never stopped moving. So everything they grabbed was in a rush and on the go. That being said that platform did go up and down multiple times, giving every chef multiple opportunities to grab what they could.
However, having that platform continually moving, definitely left some chefs struggling. And even though team Ramsay was in the top kitchen, they still struggled to grab with that platform on the move.
Next Level Chef took on the challenge of ramen in episode 6

Even with only three chefs in the kitchen, team Gordon Ramsay was able to pull off the win with this challenge. While there was at least one excellent dish on every level, ultimately it was Beatrice who rocked this challenge.
For a second week in a row Beatrice won best dish and earned safety for team Ramsay. Maybe it’s me, but it really seems like Gordon Ramsay knows how to put together an impressive team. And it does not matter how old you are, if you are talented, and you are willing to take risks in the kitchen, you might have what it takes to be the next level chef.
This also meant that it was Gordon Ramsay in the kitchen with the two chefs going head to head for a chance to continue in the competition. It was an interesting head-to-head battle of Japanese fusion with another cuisine, but in the end it was team Blais that ended up losing a chef.
