Andrew Garfield might be getting ready for another Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) project but straightaway denies any rumours regarding Spider-Man 4.
Garfield hasn’t revealed anything about his next move but clearly repudiated any reports related to his reprise of Peter Parker for Spider-Man 4. He hasn’t even signed for it yet.
His previous occurrence in a cameo with Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire was the talk of the town in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. People might be anticipating the same this time. Sadly, Holland denied the news.
Viewers witnessed and celebrated the live-action portrayal of all three Spider-Men when Dr Strange’s spell went wrong in No Way Home, bringing them all together after travelling across the multiverse.
However, talking to GQ UK, he broke his silence by saying that it would be a disappointment to many but “I know no one’s gonna trust anything I say from now on”.
Andrew Garfield denies Spider-Man 4 rumors
It was due to this reason that he apologetically conceded having lied to the internet and never disclosed the true facts about his casting in Spider-Man. He unveiled it was fun to keep secrets like that, in which his dad, brother and mother were involved too.
The netizens still think he might be joking again this time, as he lied about not being in the last Spider-Man but he surely was. Probably, that is when he says no one's going to believe him.
In October, Andrew Garfield revealed details about his casting in the next Spider-Man movie that he loves the concept and would still be excited to remain a part of the universe.
However, he wants to do something that is “unique, odd and exciting” and would be joyful to return. He validated that he is not doing a third Spider-Man movie this time but would “100 per cent come back if it was the right thing”.
On the other hand, Tom Holland teased about the sequel, confirming it to be “super exciting”. Holland even verified that the next Spider-Man, still untitled, would be released on July 24, 2026, whose shooting would start this summer, which he confessed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
