Hell’s Kitchen is down to its final four. And this means we were at the point when our chefs have to lead the dinner service. It was officially “Hell At The Pass” in Hell’s Kitchen.

However, ahead of this ultimate dinner service that will determine our final three, Gordon Ramsay always pulls his final four chefs into the back of the kitchen to motivate them and remind them that they are leaders. And ahead of this dinner service, he wanted these head chefs to prove that they have what it takes to really lead the kitchen.

So what did that mean for the cheftestants? It meant getting into his face and screaming. He wanted these chefs to get nose to nose with him and yell at their very loudest. It was all about showcasing their voice in the kitchen. Did they have what it takes to yell at their fellow chefs when they aren’t living up to expectations?

Honestly, it felt like the only chef who really embraced that challenge was Kyle. In fact, it was clear that he enjoyed it. And you can’t blame him, since this is his chance to actually yell at Gordon Ramsay, after he has been yelling at them all season long.

This is almost always one of the best episodes of the season. And there is no denying that this was a great episode. We got to see some excellent leadership in the kitchen as well as some amazing cooking. Were there issues, yes. But nothing like what we’ve seen in the past.

It really feels like Chef Ramsay has made the correct decisions when it comes to his final four.

And of course, by the end of this episode we were down to the final three. So who went home? Perhaps surprisingly to some, it was Whit who got sent home. And with the way she reacted both in the kitchen and to her elimination, we were not that surprised by Gordon Ramsay’s decision.

Now, we can’t wait to see how these final three take on the challenges ahead. Because one of these three chefs is going to be the head chef of the Foxwoods resort and casino location of Gordon Ramsay‘s Hell’s Kitchen.
