It may have been a short, six episode season, but Harry Potter Wizards of Baking gave us some epic creations and even endearing bakers and chocolate makers. And now we know exactly which of duo bakers has been crowned as our Season 1 champions.

After a season filled with highs and lows and pretty epic guest judges, it all came down to the final bake. This final showpiece was the largest creation yet and inspired by the most iconic part of the Harry Potter set: The Great Hall.

With both Zoe and Jordan and Elizabeth and Juan battling out for that final prize, it felt like it was anyone's game. Both teams had brilliant bakes and showpieces, with Juan and Elizabeth coming into the final with two wins under their belt, while Zoe and Jordan had one. It may have seemed like Zoe and Jordan were the underdogs, but that could not have been further from the truth.

So who won over the judges and the returning guest judges? Who reigned supreme in The Great Hall?

The winners of Season 1 of Harry Potter Wizards of Baking was team Zoe and Jordan

While both teams put up showstopping show pieces for their final creations inspired by the Great Hall, Zoe and Jordan edged out their fellow bakers with their tasting elements. There was just something so amazing about what they put before the judges that it was nearly impossible to find fault with anything they created.

Zoe and Jordan winning Harry Potter Wizards of Baking season 1 felt inevitable after viewing their amazing final showpiece. They did it with a piece that no one could find fault with. Whether you’re talking about their tasting elements or the impressive showpiece that they created, there was nothing to critique with their creation, and it truly seemed to capture the magic of both Harry Potter and the setting they were recreating.

It felt like this was an emotional ride for not only the bakers, but also the judges and even the many fans who were able to witness the magic of these showpieces for themselves.

Here's hoping that we really do get a second season of Harry Potter Wizards of Baking, and that we get to explore more aspects of this world and these characters in the art of desserts.
