Harry Kane is using his platform to improve England's mental health one cup at a time.

In a recent post on its official PR website, Starbucks announced that it's launched a special flat white product in honor of Harry Kane and his eponymous foundation's efforts to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.

According to Starbucks, the Harry Kane flat white is "a handcrafted flat white with sugar-free vanilla syrup, a double shot of Starbucks signature espresso roast and oat drink" and is exclusive to the coffeehouse's English locations.

The Harry Kane flat white is the primary tool Starbucks and the Harry Kane Foundation will use to encourage customers to discuss their mental health more often.

The Harry Kane Foundation was founded on World Mental Health Day in 2022 by Harry Kane to "transform a generation's thinking about mental health."

The Foundation's official website claims that Harry wants to use his platform as a tool to increase the public's mental health awareness. Kane's collaboration with Starbucks is an excellent step towards his ultimate goal.

Harry Kane is one of the greatest footballers to represent England in international and club play. The equity Kane's built throughout his career allows him to start business relationships other charities cannot access on their own.

Harry appears to recognize this, as his flat white collab with Starbucks is designed to raise funds for two of his most valuable charity partners as well.

In its official announcement, Starbucks also revealed that 25p from each Harry Kane flat white sold will be forwarded to Mental Health Innovations and Bounce Forward.

Mental Health Innovations helps Starbucks provide mental health awareness training and operates Shout - the United Kingdom's only texting service that provides 24/7 mental health support to people in need.

Bounce Forward helps the United Kingdom's younger citizens develop emotional resilience by promoting and implementing its five-year Healthy Minds curriculum in various schools. Starbucks reports that the Healthy Minds curriculum has already been adopted in 60 secondary schools across the country.

The funding raised from Harry Kane and Starbucks' collaboration should help Mental Health Innovations and Bounce Forward expand their reach even more. Harry's special flat white should also help customers start conversations that they previously thought would be uncomfortable.

Tea and Banter's English readers can support Harry Kane's efforts by buying a specially branded flat white at their local Starbucks locations. You better hurry, though! Harry's collaboration with the coffeehouse ends on the 30th of April.
