Get to know the cast of the Wolf Hall sequel
If you're familiar with the late Hilary Mantel's books, you might have heard of one called Wolf Hall, which was adapted into a six-part television series.
What's interesting about Wolf Hall as a book trilogy is that it is dubbed historical fiction rather than being historically accurate.
The series chronicled the events of the first two books in the trilogy about Thomas Cromwell's rise to power. The second season, set after the execution of Anne Boleyn, who was beheaded in the previous series, will focus on Cromwell's fall and the marriage of Henry VIII to Jane Seymour.
There was also a Wolf Hall stage production, which starred Nathaniel Parker.
As per The Independent, many of the cast members from the first season return, while some have been recast for various reasons.

When Does Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light Take Place?
From what we can tell, this season picks up during Henry VIII's courtship with Jane Seymour and traces the last four years of his life. Though, the show's main plot point is explaining Thomas Cormwell's downfall and how he was executed.
If you've seen the original Wolf Hall, don't expect to see Anne Boleyn, though there might be references as this season takes place after her execution.
