Next Level Chef took on “The Thunderdome” in episode 9 as we saw the teams being disbanded. It’s no longer a team competition for the chefs and that means that now we are in the individual portion of the season.
Starting in the top kitchen, the remaining nine chefs all had to cook together for their spot in the competition. What does this mean? It means that the top dishes in the top kitchen will start their cook in that kitchen in the next episode. Everybody else heads down to the middle kitchen to compete again for a chance at the middle kitchen. And of course, if you didn’t make it into the middle kitchen, that means you have to head to the basement where the worst dish goes home.
Interestingly enough, chef Gordon Ramsay‘s team can be found across all three floors. And, we were not surprised to see Beatrice getting herself into that upper kitchen. The way she cooks is definitely impressive.

Next Level Chef is onto the individual part of the competition for Season 4
While the chefs may no longer be cooking in teams, that doesn’t mean that they are not still representing their mentor. So of course, we are going to be watching to see what happens with Chef Ramsay’s former team members. Now that they all have to fight for their spots in the competition, will we notice some weakness in the chefs? It’s going to be interesting to see how everyone does as individuals.
There is something so entertaining about watching the chefs cooking as individuals on Next Level Chef. It really feels like the playing field is completely leveled when everybody has to cook on their own. And it definitely brings out more of the competitive and nature, as everyone is fighting for the ingredients they want.
Now that the team portion of the show is over, we still think that Gordon Ramsay is going to be the winner once again. It will be interesting to see if he is able to pull off the threepeat on Next Level Chef.
