With the Invictus Games taking place in Canada, Prince Harry is currently not home to celebrate Valentine’s Day with his family. However, Duchess Meghan did make it home (as she was with the prince for the opening ceremony of the games, as well as the first few days of events) in time to spend the holiday with the couple’s children, Lilibet and Archie.

In a video shared to her Instagram stories, we got to see how the Duchess of Sussex and her children spent a little bit of time together on Valentine’s Day. And it looks like they shared a very special treat, featuring plenty of hearts.

While we are not sure if this was breakfast or a snack, in the Instagram story, we got to see the Duchess cutting strawberries into the shape of hearts and placing them on what looked to be bagels with a strawberry cream cheese spread. The video also gave us small glimpses of both Lilibet and Archie, as well as the family's pup.

Duchess Meghan shared a sweet Valentine's Day video to her Instagram Stories

While we only get the briefest glimpse of Lilibet helping to get that spread on the bagels, we do get to see a bit more of Archie (at least from behind). Overall, the video was a super sweet glimpse into how Duchess Meghan celebrated Valentine's Day this year. And as Hello Magazine pointed out, the clip featured Nat King Cole's "L-O-V-E," even as the duchess skipped captioning the video.

Prior to sharing the video to her Instagram Stories, we also got a special Valentine's Day post dedicated to Prince Harry from the duchess. And it was a sweet tribute to her husband that also alluded to the fact that she was spending the holiday with their children.

I love that Duchess Meghan took to Instagram multiple times this week, at the Invictus Games and at home. And of course, I am definitely a fan of her Valentine's Day Instagram Story.

I am not going to lie, I watched the video on her Stories a few times because I really loved the way that Duchess Meghan turned the strawberries into hearts. It was so easy and it was definitely something I would try doing if I was decorating a cake or cupcakes. I love that the video not only gave us a glimpse of the family, but also shared a little trick to cutting strawberries into the shape of a heart.

When it comes to Duchess Meghan's social media presence, it is clear that she is being very intentional with what she posts, while also giving us the kind of content her fans want to see. These glimpses into the strength of her relationship and the fun that she has with Prince Harry and her children is definitely something we enjoy seeing. And we hope to see more of it in 2025.
