While Meghan, Duchess of Sussex is currently hosting her own podcast, for the first time ever she has been a guest on someone else's podcast. And as a guest, the duchess decided to be raw and honest in talking about herself on the Jamie Kern Lima Show.

Recently, it seems like Duchess Meghan has been working hard to showcase who she really is to the world. So it makes sense that in her latest podcast appearance, she made it clear that she is getting tired of "having to prove herself as a wife and friend." And honestly, we don't blame her for this at all.

Since the very beginning of her relationship with Prince Harry, it seems as if she has faced a lot of backlash and hate. And of course, all of it has played out in the public eye with the help of the media and social media.

According to GB News, even in trying to be as honest and open as possible on the podcast, Duchess Meghan opted for comfort over style. She decided to skip the makeup and even wore a sweatsuit instead of jeans or anything else we might have expected from her closet.

Of course, it was what she had to say that really resonated with us. Because the duchess was not only speaking from the heart, but she did it in a way that made it clear that she is over being judged by people who don't even know her.

While speaking on the podcast, the Duchess of Sussex got brutally honest with the host.

"We spend so much of our lives trying to prove something. To prove that you're enough. You have to prove that you're pretty enough. You have to prove that you're smart enough.
I'm just so done with the prove it game. And if you can't see it, I can't, I don't need to prove to you why. That's your loss."

Honestly, I really appreciate Duchess Meghan for being so open about how she feels. Considering how often it seems like people get joy over tearing her down, calling her names and just bashing every little thing she does, it makes sense that she is over having to prove things to people. And this is especially true when these people don't even matter to her life in the long run.

Here's hoping that the Duchess of Sussex's endeavors continue to be successful and her work does all the "proving" that people apparently need from her.
