If you are all caught up on Harry Potter Wizards of Baking, then you already know who won and how things went down. You also know that the final challenge took place in the Great Hall. We truly enjoyed this first season of the series. And we were thinking about the fact that there is so much more to explore in this world.

Not only were there some great bakers in this competition, but it was really nice to reconnect with some of the stars of the original movies. There was so much to appreciate in this season if you grew up with the series.

At the same time, we have to point out that they kept focusing on the fact that this was the first season of the series. And they really emphasized that. That made us think that we really will get a second season. But do we need it?

Honestly, I think we do. I don’t think we touched on enough of what made the movies and the books so special. That being said, obviously the majority of the inspiration was the movies, and there are still plenty of locations and characters that deserve a chance to shine. So it would be nice to get a second season where we can see more bakers, taking on these challenges and introducing us to the wider world of Harry Potter and the Wizarding World.

We could even see the second season touching on the spinoff series, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Considering that was a textbook in the original movies, it does make sense that we could see inspiration from that series.

No matter what they decide to do, we just want a second season. We want more of the twins as our host and amazing bakers coming in to not only show off their love of the series, but also their love of baking. There was so much talent on this show, that we aren’t ready to let it go yet.

Will we actually get a second season? We don’t know yet. But we have hope.
