We have reached the finale of Season 4 of Next Level Chef and that means we finally learn of Richard Blais has chosen the winning chef or if Gordon Ramsay will pull off the three-peat. And with all three chefs having to cook three dishes across all three kitchens, there is a lot of room for people to make mistakes.

From the very start of this episode, it was made clear that the chefs were going to fight hard for the title of Next Level Chef. And we expected nothing less from this trio of chefs. Whether we are looking at Beatrice from team Ramsay or Austin and Megan from team Blais, the chefs have proven time and time again that they belong not only in this competition, but also in the Next Level Chef finale.

Interestingly enough, it really feels like each chef won a round. Each of these chefs had the best dish in one kitchen. It almost felt like it was going to be anybody’s game at the end. In fact, I had no idea who was going to win the competition this season. All three of them deserved the win.

So who won?

Austin from team Richard Blais won Season 4 of Next Level Chef

At the end of the finale, Richard Blais finally pulled out a win, stopping Gordon Ramsay from taking the win for a third time. Honestly, Austin absolutely deserved the win. But I would not have been surprised if any of the chefs had walked away with the title.

As the episode ended, Gordon Ramsay made it clear that he was very impressed with Austin and he thought that the chef has really proven himself throughout the competition. He did seem to joke that the only thing wrong with Austin winning was who his mentor was. And we do love that bit of rivalry that the mentors have with each other.

Knowing that Next Level Chef will be back for a fifth season, we cannot wait to see what happens next. Will Gordon Ramsay make a comeback in season five? Will Nyesha Arrington pull out the win again? Or has Richard Blais figured out the key to winning Next Level Chef? We’ll have to wait until next year to find out.
