According to Vogue Magazine, it seems that Erivo arrived "in a voluminous, pannier-hipped Louis Vuitton gown with a cut-out collar rising from an elaborate bow-shaped bustier in deep velvet green." It was a statement gown in every sense of the word.
Cynthia Erivo looked like an Emerald City Queen in this gorgeous velvet gown. And there is no denying that she was one of the best dressed of the night.
While she may have taken the Oscars stage in an entirely different gown, there is no denying that this velvet number is the one we will remember from this night.
