Based on a True Story Season 2 is ready to bring the comedy and mystery in spades
If you watched Peacock's Based on a True Story Season 1, then you already know that this Comedy Thriller is a wild ride. And things are just heating up with the new trailer that dropped for Season 2.
Kaley Cuoco, Tom Bateman and Chris Messina are all back for another murderous jaunt. But this time, it seems that there is a new murderer on the loose and causing chaos, all while the Bartletts have a new baby at home.
Before diving into the trailer for Season 2 of Based on a True Story, we have to talk about the first season. From a marriage in trouble to a confirmed murderer in their midst, the Bartletts have a lot on their plate. It doesn't help that Ava is pregnant and kind of obsessed with true crime. So when she proposes to her husband, Nathan, that they should do their own podcast following the news of a murder by the "Westside Ripper," things get truly wild in their lives.
As we head into Season 2, we already know that Matt is in fact a murderer, but it seems like he is not the person doing any of the killing this time around. And he wants to know who is, especially as he has a wedding on the horizon.
Based on a True Story brings back the same dark humor and mystery we enjoyed in the first season in new trailer for Season 2
The fun thing about the new trailer is that the Bartletts now have a baby in their lives, and that means that they should be stepping back from their murder mystery solving ways. But clearly that is not the case, especially as they try to prove whether or not Matt really is out here continuing his killing ways.

Maybe it is just us, but we can't wait for November 21 when Season 2 is set to drop on Peacock. We need to know "who done it." And of course, we need a good laugh over the Bartletts shenanigans as they juggle new parenthood, their murder mystery solving ways, and relationships.
